The role of the GI Underwriter is to be the liaison between the Sales Team and GI Insurers by supporting with assessing clients’ risks and requirements, and ensuring the same is fulfilled through our market study.Some high-impact responsibilities you will be entrusted with:

The role of the GI Underwriter is to be the liaison between the Sales Team and GI Insurers by supporting with assessing clients’ risks and requirements, and ensuring the same is fulfilled through our market study.Some high-impact responsibilities you will be entrusted with:
- You will entrusted with approaching the insurers with quote requests tailored as optimal solutions for our clients.
- Supporting the sales teams with negotiations on clauses, extensions, warranties, and premiums.
- You will be tasked with strengthening relationships with insurers, positively impacting our client retention and new business acquisition
- Minimum of 3 years work experience as a GI underwriter preferably with an insurance broker
- Extensive knowledge of GI policies including but not limited to Casualty, Liabilities, amp; Marine.
- Good relationships with various insurers within the UAE
- High level of organization and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to fully understand nature of clients’ GI Risks, recommend and tailor quote requests, compare options and provide optimal advice to clients.
- Experience in GI claims management.
- Good communication skills
