Bayut amp; dubizzle - The Arab World's only Homegrown Unicorn Business is now inviting applications for internships of 6 months duration in our Business Intelligence department.

As a Product Design Intern at Bayut and dubizzle, you are stepping into the exciting world of digital design. You will be supporting the design and development of our mobile and web applications, contributing to our mission of creating user-centric digital experiences.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in various stages of the design process for our digital products with supervision.
- Participate in user research and usability testing under guidance to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with our design team and cross-functional teams to develop designs that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Support in the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including interactive prototypes and design specifications.
- Present and discuss your design ideas with stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Basic understanding of typography, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Familiarity with design software (Figma, Adobe XD etc.) and prototyping tools.
- Understanding or interest in UI/UX principles, design thinking methodology, and user-centred design practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- An eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- A team player who enjoys working in a diverse environment.
- A self-starter who can navigate ambiguity.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Open-minded and humble, with a belief that valuable ideas can come from anyone.
- Any practical or academic experience in product design or a related field is a plus.
