Job Description

Do you have an eye for details, a will to go the extra miles for your client? Do you have an agency background and/or a very organized personality? A basic technical knowledge that will help you advising and assisting our clients, the drive to succeed surrounded by a dedicated professionals? Most importantly, do you want to work on the most prestigious events organized in the Middle-East?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our event and exhibition business in the UAE and KSA, through the development of new business relationships and expansion of existing ones. The ideal candidate will be Arabic speaker, have a strong network and track record in business development within the event and exhibition industry and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the industry, including current trends and customer demands. The candidate will be reporting directly to the Director of Client Services and Development.

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including design, project management, and operations, to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the event and exhibition sector.
  • Build a strong network of industry contacts to help drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing our fitout capabilities and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the event and exhibition industry, with a proven track record of delivering financial results.
  • Strong network of contacts within the sector, especially local contacts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Proficient in CRM, Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • UAE citizens and/or Arabic speaker.
