Khabari International is seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data and preparing budget reports. They will also be expected to direct cost savings initiatives, implementing cost accounting methods, and conducting variance analysis. This position requires an exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed cost data for materials, labor, and overhead
- Analyze financial data and prepare budget reports
- Develop cost estimates and prepare cost of goods sold analysis
- Identify cost savings opportunities and implement cost accounting practices
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and risks
- Provide guidance on accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- Manage project budgets and forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in cost accounting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Expert in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Ability to work with teams and influence cross-functional groups
- Candidates inside Dubai only
