The Junior Planning Engineer is responsible for updating the project's progress, and following up with the site to gather information. Additionally, collecting amp; storing daily reports from the site in each project folder, keeping records of technical submissions and approvals, as well as job files, participating in activities related to cost control and progress monitoring, and sharing planning details with other departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan and Project Management Plan, including work breakdown structures for each phase of the project; which includes secured jobs or potential jobs for RFP amp; business development.
- Assist in preparing baseline program, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines as per project management plan by developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements to ensure that the project starts and finishes on time and within budget; which includes a secured job or potential job for RFP amp; business development.
- Implement the work schedule and monitor progress for timely execution of the project through daily, weekly, and monthly reports concerning the review of the overall project.
- Prepare amp; submit weekly/monthly progress reports for financial forecast and management review.
- Review status reports, modify schedules and plans as required, and keep the line manager informed of the progress regularly.
- Identify potential delay and prepare delay notification and extension of Time Claim submission to Client, if necessary.
- Analyze the productivity of manpower and machinery every quarter.
Requirements
To be considered for this job, you must be/have:
- Civil Engineering Degree preferred or related technical field.
- 2 Years of GCC work experience in planning and scheduling (building projects)
- Primavera P6 skill
- Excel Skill
- Power BI Skill
