Job Description
Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. Be a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future software release versions.
Other responsibilities will include:
Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices.
Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions
SharePoint development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform
Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards
Task / Operation
Design / Develop Software Modules for E-Services / complex Workflows Environments
Translate requirements to software component and systems
Perform Testing / Debugging
Create Documentation / Conduct Application Maintenance
Provide consultation on SharePoint best practices, standards, governance, and information management.
Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements.
Work with the team by assisting them in the customization, and definition of a SharePoint websites.
Develop knowledge & skills of SharePoint Central Admin functionality, Farm Level setup, site configuration, Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, & backups/restores.
Coordinate with IT Project team during installation and deployment of hardware and software on the development, test and production environment.
Perform specific duties to assist in the harnessing & consolidating multiple solutions those are being used at Khalifa Fund, into standard unified SharePoint 2013 web platform.
Significant development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies (using C#).
Hands-on experience: development of web parts, lists, document libraries, Event Handlers and custom workflow.
Create secure web-based applications and web services utilizing Microsoft WCF
Develop and support custom applications built on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Platform 2013.
Perform technical troubleshooting in a wide range of different customer situations.
Client-Side Scripting (JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Silver light CSOM - Client-Side Object Model, RESTful API Services in SharePoint Object Model MS SQL Server 2012 Database development
Job Specification
4 to 7 years of progressive work experience, of which at least 3 years is relevant SharePoint development experience.
3+ years of experience with developing .NET Web applications.
Experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013.
Participation in at least 2 major implementations of CMS and complex workflows.
Experience leveraging Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, SharePoint, XML, Active directory and SQL Server, to improve business processes and productivity.
Experience with developing customized workflows and have an understanding of active directory/LDAP capabilities.
Perform Testing / Debugging
Experience working with software development life cycle.
Familiarity with 3rd Party solutions (i.e. web parts) that integrate with SharePoint with emphasis on Business Intelligence, KPI, Records Management, Project Management, and Excel Services.
