About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Community Outreach officer to join our thriving accelerator, Flat6Labs Ignite, based in the UAE. As a Community Outreach officer , you will play a pivotal role in connecting our accelerator program with the wider UAE community and fostering meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. Your passion for community engagement, networking prowess, and ability to drive outreach initiatives will be instrumental in promoting the success of our accelerator and supporting the growth of the startups within our UAE ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
- Develop and execute community engagement strategies to cultivate a strong and vibrant startup ecosystem around Flat6Labs Ignite in the UAE including events, workshops, and other activities that promote collaboration and learning among participants.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including startups, mentors, investors, and industry experts, to build a supportive and collaborative community.
- Organize networking events, workshops, and seminars to facilitate knowledge sharing and relationship-building within the UAE startup community.
Outreach Initiatives:
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns to attract entrepreneurs to the Flat6Labs Ignite Program.
- Identify potential partnership opportunities with organizations, institutions, and local communities in the UAE to expand Flat6Labs Ignite's reach and impact.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with external partners in the UAE, creating a mutually beneficial environment for all parties involved.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Flat6Labs Ignite, representing our values and vision at relevant events and conferences in the UAE.
- Identification and coordination of business development opportunities for Flat6Lab’s corporate services offering with corporates, governmental agencies and ministries.
Startup Support:
- Work closely with startups within Flat6Labs Ignite UAE, providing guidance and resources to enhance their engagement with the local community.
- Facilitate connections between our portfolio startups and industry experts, mentors, investors, and potential customers to drive their growth and success.
- Monitor and track the progress of UAE startups, offering assistance from both a program prospective and business support and as needed throughout their entrepreneurial journey.
Content Creation:
- Produce compelling content, including blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters, to promote Flat6Labs Ignite's activities in the UAE and highlight success stories.
- Align with marketing amp; communication teams to ensure the smooth implementation of Flat6Labs Ignite StartMashreq program's social media presence across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Collaborate with our central marketing and communication teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms within the UAE market.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to community engagement and outreach efforts in the UAE, providing regular reports to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Use insights from data analysis to continually refine and improve community engagement strategies within the UAE market.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in community management, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the startup ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in building and growing a community or network, marketing campaigns and outreach strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of the startup ecosystem and a passion for entrepreneurship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
