As the Operations Team Lead, you play a key team management role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes. Along with enhancing current operations including customer support, internal team performance, product, and overall process efficiency, you will also focuses on working on projects to align with the needs and vision of the company and keeping all the partners and stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Define, execute, and communicate operational processes, standards, and best practices to deliver, align teams and drive business goals forward with the projects
- Improve customer support experience, create engaged clients and facilitate organic growth.
- Take ownership of client issues, coordinate with concerned departments and follow problems through to resolution.
- Implement and monitor team KPI’s, guide and develop support teams and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
- Analyse statistics, data and compile accurate reports
- Improve process and service procedures, policies and standards.
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organisational objectives and apply improvements
- Take a strategic look at the project, and communicate thoughts about how to move forward, remove obstacles
- Create detailed project plans and execute multiple projects and improve team efficiencies
- Timely and accurate updates/information provided to relevant teams and senior management
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and trends
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Align with customers where required to get feedback and ensure that feedback is acted upon
- Identify operational gaps in new offerings and set operational requirements for new projects
Requirements
- A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration or Operations/Engineering or Project Management or similar fields
- Experience working in high growth tech/e-commerce companies.
- Experience in Project Management and Stakeholder management
- Product development knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Planning, organizing, and delegation of tasks and functions.
- Strong team player who has worked cross-function before to coordinate and meet deadlines.
- High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly
