Legal Counsel

Beond is looking for a Legal Counsel to join our exciting and dynamic team on a full time basis (part time may be considered). This position will report to the Chief Legal Officer and provide legal support to the company on all aspects of its business, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and assisting in the drafting and review of legal documents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support to the company and its (international) subsidiaries on a variety of legal matters, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents and policies as well as advising on corporate law
• Assure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies created by the company
• Assist in the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide variety of international agreements
• Communicate regularly with management and other departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Develop, liaise with and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Degree in Law and qualification as a lawyer
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in an international law firm or an aviation related business
• Experience in international aviation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, result driven and structured working
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with international cross-functional teams
