Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Account Director to manage client relationships and overseeing the successful execution of media projects. This role involves a combination of account management, project management and strategic planning.

In this role, strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, as the Account Director serves as the bridge between the client’s needs and the production team’s capabilities. You will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, meeting quality standards, and achieve the desired results for the client while maintaining a profitable relationship for the Company.

Duties and Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including film studios, production companies and individual producers.
  • Understand client needs, objectives and expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the production team.
  • Oversee the entire production process, from pre-production to post-production.
  • Set project goals and objectives, develop project timelines and manage budgets.
  • Support the creative development of ideas and ensure the creative proposals meet the client’s brief and needs.
  • Allocate resources, including cast, crew, equipment and locations.
  • Ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets for production projects.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining production quality.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop production strategies that align with their creative and business objectives.
  • Provide clients with strategic recommendations and solution to enhance project outcomes.
  • Provide clients with regular updates and reports on project progress and performance.
  • Lead and mentor account managers, production managers, and other team members.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and communication within the production team.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and grow the client base.
  • Participate in business development activities, including pitching new projects and proposals.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in production techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, business, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in film production and account management.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • Knowledge of film industry regulations and legal requirements
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Creative and problem-solving abilities.
