Fleet Transition Manager

Beond, the world's first premium leisure airline, is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Transition Manager to join our team. As the Fleet Transition Manager, you will be responsible for managing the smooth transition of our aircraft fleet, ensuring a seamless process from acquisition to retirement. You will work closely with various departments within the airline, including flight operations, maintenance, and finance, to coordinate the necessary activities and ensure the successful integration of new aircraft and the phase out of old aircraft. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of aircraft operations.

• Develop a comprehensive entry into service or fleet exit plan for the airline's aircraft and operational integration.
• Collaborate with aircraft manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from delivery to operational deployment and vice versa.
• Manage aircraft configuration (STC) changes in conjunction with external STC provider , vendors and internal teams and the BFE Manager, ensuring proper documentation and communication to relevant stakeholders..
• Coordinate aircraft acceptance inspections, ensure compliance with specifications, and manage planning for any necessary modifications adhering to contractual obligations, commitments and timings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and industry standards throughout the fleet transition process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft delivery, or related roles.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Contract management experience, from negotiation through to delivery.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems, technical integration, and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and airworthiness standards.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage complex operational processes.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• Understanding and experience of aircraft lease contracts
