Job Description

PXGEO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal at PXGEO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our legal team to develop and implement effective governance and compliance practices to support our commitment to sustainable energy.

As a Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of key compliance policies and procedures, and ensure that our operations adhere to the highest standards of integrity and ethics.

As part of the Legal team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the legal team in compliance related matters, mainly related to Anti Bribery and Corruption, Personal Data Protection programs and legal and compliance risk registers.
  • Supporting the legal team in corporate governance matters, including filing and maintaining corporate records for various legal entities.
  • Assistance with running due diligence checks and gathering information as required.
  • Management of calendars to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance.
  • Assistance with drafting communications to various internal clients and third parties.
  • Assisting in the preparation, updating and implementation of company policies and procedures related to for example Anti Bribery and Corruption and Personal Data Protection programs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal presentations, reports, and other documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years previous experience working in a legal department.
  • Mandatory technical skills and experience:

- Excellent Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook skills

- Excellent research skills

- Experience with working in a compliance related role

- Experience with corporate governance and preparation of corporate documentation

- Experience in personal data protection program requirements

- Knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices

- Experience with assisting in drafting company policies and procedures

- Experience managing company documents

- Experience with insurance would be beneficial

- Fluent in English written and spoken

- Experience with App4Legal or a similar application
