Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Intelligence Analyst with a robust analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets. This role emphasizes strong commercial skills, including the ability to contribute to pre-sales activities and collaborate with the sales team. The successful candidate will engage in supporting the data offerings process, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and interpret data. Their insights will play a vital role in informing strategic business decisions. Furthermore, financial knowledge is highly valuable for this position, enhancing the candidate's ability to provide comprehensive analyses and contribute effectively to the organization's overall success.
Responsibilities:
Proposals and Presentations:
- Develop proposals and responses to RFPs by collaborating with technical and finance teams.
- Conduct presentations and provide training to the sales team, when required.
Business Requirements Gathering
- Skilled in gathering business requirements and understand customers' business needs.
- Efficiently collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document detailed business requirements for data projects.
Data Analysis
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.
- Utilize statistical methods to analyse and interpret complex data sets, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
Reporting and Visualization
- Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant platforms.
- Communicate key insights and trends to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through data visualizations and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role with a minimum of 2 years.
- Exceptional presentation skills for internal and external clients are a prerequisite.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is desirable.
- Familiarity with statistical methods, machine learning, and predictive modelling is considered a plus.
