About Glucare:

GluCare.Health is the first full-service digital therapeutic diabetes clinic in the GCC.

A diagnosis of diabetes is life-changing. But with the right care and support system, people can thrive with diabetes.

At GluCare.Health we offer patients the best possible care through a team of clinicians, skilled health educators, and access to cutting edge technology that makes our patient's condition easier to manage.

At best, Diabetic patients in the UAE tend to spend only a few minutes interacting with physicians per quarter. This model creates a significant feedback gap that exits between patient visits (3-4 visits per year) and what happens to glycemic cycles they encounter daily.

GluCare has developed a new model of care that provides 24/7 coverage by tracking patient physiological and medical information from wearable technology and medical devices (such as Continuous Glucose Monitors and insulin pumps). Our proprietary Diabetes Prevention Protocols (DPP) incorporates the use of Machine Learning to conduct predictive algorithms to detect issues early and constantly monitor data alongside our remote care team consisting of coaches, nurses, and physicians.

A Field Business Development Executive with a healthcare sales and field background is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients in the healthcare industry. They work closely with clients (hospitals, clinics, health and fitness businesses, medical facilities, digital health companies, medical professions, and the likes of it) to build partnerships and raise awareness about our products and services.

We are looking for a competitive Field Representative who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. You will act as the key link between our company and other stakeholders and you will aim at meeting sales targets. Your goal will be to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s offerings and maximize sales growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and pursuing new partnerships and sales opportunities across all programs at GluCare and our sister company Zone Health for the center
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders in the healthcare industry, e.g. (hospitals, clinics, health and fitness businesses, medical facilities, digital health companies, medical professions, etc.)
  • Liaising with and persuading e.g. targeted businesses to refer to our programs
  • Building positive trust relationships with medical representatives to influence targeted group in the decision making process
  • Working with sales team to develop strategies and implementing brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Pursuing continuous learning and professional development and staying up-to-date with latest medical data, industry trends and developments
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Medical Field Business Development and/or Sales Representative in the healthcare industry with extended industry network in e.g. hospitals, clinics, health and fitness businesses, medical facilities, digital health companies, medical professions, etc
  • A proven track record of successful client relationships management
  • 2-3 years of UAE field experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office (e.g. Excel) and CRM
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills, highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales, strong business acumen
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Medical background by either education (BSc) and/or work experience in e.g. nutrition, diabetes, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with healthcare stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address business challenges
  • Friendly and adaptable attitude, presentable
  • Open to work during weekends, if needed
  • A driving license and a car a must
  • Start-up experience a bonus
