Apt Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team of our client, a leading Real Estate Brokerage firm. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as handling day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the real estate industry and a strong understanding of real estate accounting practices.

• Manage the day-to-day accounting activities of the real estate brokerage firm
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Handle complex accounting transactions, including revenue recognition and lease accounting
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Must be in UAE
• CPA qualification or equivalent is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting practices and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
