Shipping/Logistics Administrator for Trading Company

Apt Resources is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping/Logistics Administrator to join our client, a reputable trading company. As a Shipping/Logistics Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient shipping operations for the company's products. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate and arrange shipments of goods, both domestically and internationally
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and certificates of origin
• Ensure compliance with all applicable customs regulations and international trade laws
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
• Manage import and export documentation and maintain accurate records
• Resolve any shipping issues or delays that may arise
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan and optimize logistics operations
• Assist with inventory management and stock control

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping or logistics administration
• Proficient in using shipping and logistics software
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control
• Knowledge of using SAP application
• Must be inside the UAE
• Must have experience in UAE or GCC as Shipping/Logistics Administrator
