What you’ll be doing

Company: Flo Mobility Private Limited

Overview:

Industrial automation startup building autonomous robots for construction sites.
Responsible for on-site deployments and reliable operation of Autonomous Material Movement Robots with construction clients in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities:

Deploy, set up, calibrate, and commission autonomous robots on live construction sites.
Plan and assign missions using the Mission Control Panel and execute autonomous runs safely.
Monitor robot performance during operations; diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the field.
Perform parameter tuning for navigation and perception systems (e.g., Nav2) and assist with sensor calibration.
Debug communication and hardware interfaces (CAN, UART, USB) and conduct basic maintenance and system checks.
Work with a ROS2-based robotics software stack and collaborate with software and hardware teams to improve system reliability.
Interact with customers and site teams to ensure safe, effective robot operation.

What we’re looking for

Must-have: Experience deploying and operating robotic systems on live sites or in field environments.
Must-have: Hands-on experience with ROS2 and navigation stacks (Nav2).
Must-have: Comfortable working on Linux (Ubuntu) and basic scripting/coding in Python.
Must-have: Experience debugging hardware communication protocols such as CAN, UART, and USB.
Must-have: Ability to tune navigation and perception parameters and interpret sensor outputs.
Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills across software and hardware boundaries.
Must-have: Good communication skills to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
Preferred: Familiarity with RViZ and Gazebo.
