What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a dedicated Elevator Service Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of elevators and escalators to ensure their safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of elevators, escalators, and related systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Identify potential issues and carry out preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Respond to service calls and perform minor repairs when required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, service reports, and inspection logs.
- Assist troubleshooting technicians during major breakdowns or complex repairs.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules and findings.
What we’re looking for
Must-have skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience in elevator and escalator maintenance, servicing, and inspection.
- Basic knowledge of elevator mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and safety practices.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
- Familiarity with elevator components such as doors, sensors, switches, safety devices, and control systems.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and testing equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow maintenance schedules.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to deal professionally with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
