Role Overview

The company helps clients improve coordination, streamline project delivery, and achieve cost-effective outcomes through practical BIM solutions.
We are seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to develop accurate electrical building services models and documentation for construction and engineering projects. The role will work closely with engineers, architects, and other BIM disciplines to maintain coordinated, constructible, and information-rich project deliverables.

We are seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to develop accurate electrical building services models and documentation for construction and engineering projects. The role will work closely with engineers, architects, and other BIM disciplines to maintain coordinated, constructible, and information-rich project deliverables.
- Create and update electrical BIM models for power, lighting, containment, low-current, and related building services systems.
- Develop coordinated layouts, shop drawings, schedules, sections, and details from design information.
- Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination and resolve clashes with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing models.
- Apply BIM execution plans, naming conventions, model standards, and document control procedures.
- Support quantity extraction, design revisions, as-built updates, and submission activities.
What we’re looking for
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP, particularly electrical modeling and documentation.
- Practical understanding of electrical systems, layouts, symbols, equipment, cable containment, lighting, power, and low-current services.
- Ability to interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, schedules, and engineering markups.
- Experience using Navisworks or comparable coordination tools for model review and clash detection.
- Competence in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM collaboration, model federation, and issue-tracking workflows.
- Accurate, detail-oriented approach to modeling, drawing production, revisions, and information management.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and meet deadlines in a project environment.
