Support the preparation, assembly, installation, and finishing of furniture components under the guidance of experienced carpenters. Contribute to safe, efficient workshop and site operations while developing practical experience in furniture production.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with measuring, marking, cutting, sanding, drilling, and assembling wood and furniture components.
- Prepare materials, tools, hardware, and work areas before production or installation tasks.
- Handle materials carefully and maintain organized, clean workshop and installation areas.
- Support furniture installation, positioning, adjustment, and finishing activities as assigned.
- Follow measurements, drawings, supervisor instructions, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or production concerns promptly.

What we’re looking for
- Basic understanding of carpentry, furniture assembly, woodworking materials, and hand tools.
- Ability to use or learn measuring tapes, levels, drills, sanders, saws, screwdrivers, and related workshop tools safely.
- Ability to read simple measurements, follow instructions, and support work from basic drawings or specifications.
- Good hand coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail when handling materials and components.
- Willingness to assist with lifting, positioning, loading, unloading, and installation tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety, tool care, cleanliness, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, willingness to learn, and ability to work under carpenter or supervisor direction.
