What you’ll be doing
SkyBuild Contracting & Building Materials is a Dubai-based construction company delivering contracting services and quality building materials for residential, commercial, and other projects across the UAE. We are seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, execution, supervision, and technical coordination of construction works in Dubai.
The successful candidate will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and applicable UAE standards.

- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and construction requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor civil works, including foundations, concrete, masonry, finishing, and associated activities.
- Inspect workmanship and materials to verify compliance with approved quality requirements.
- Prepare progress updates, quantity measurements, site records, inspection requests, and technical reports.
- Support planning, material coordination, cost monitoring, and resolution of site issues.
- Promote safe working practices and report construction risks, delays, and non-conformities.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, site supervision, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Experience with quantity takeoffs, BOQs, measurements, progress reporting, and site documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and practical familiarity with MS Office; exposure to project scheduling tools is advantageous.
- Understanding of concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
- Effective coordination, communication, problem-solving, and contractor management skills.
- Ability to work on active construction sites and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Knowledge of UAE construction practices, codes, and authority requirements is preferred.
