Full-time, morning shift, on-site in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with travel required. Salary: AED 5,000–7,000.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to perform electrical design for projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, sustainable, and high-quality electrical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design for complex projects from concept through detailed design and execution according to TAQA/DEWA regulations and building codes.
- Obtain necessary NOCs from local authorities.
- Develop concept designs for data and telephone systems and obtain design NOCs from Du/Etisalat.
- Coordinate design-team approvals for ADCD fire alarm, voice evacuation, and emergency lighting systems.
- Prepare low-current system designs matching client requirements.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and architectural teams.
- Prepare and present electrical design proposals and revise them based on client feedback.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental regulations, and sustainability requirements.
- Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

What we’re looking for

- Data and telephone system design, including Du/Etisalat approvals.
- Fire alarm, voice evacuation, and emergency lighting system coordination with ADCD.
- Low-current system design.
- Technical drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
- Review and approval of submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
- At least 3 years of electrical design experience.
- ADDC/TAQA Engineer Card and an equivalency certificate.
