What you’ll be doing
Infinium Associates is recruiting an HVAC Inspector for a full-time, on-site assignment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

- Inspect HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, insulation, supports, controls, and installation workmanship at project sites.
- Review approved drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection and test plans, and commissioning requirements.
- Witness testing, balancing, pressure testing, functional checks, and system commissioning activities.
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and incomplete work; document findings and monitor corrective actions through closure.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, checklists, site reports, photographic evidence, and handover documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Support final inspections, snagging, closeout, and preparation of as-built and compliance documentation.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, ductwork, chilled-water piping, pumps, insulation, and controls.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, schedules, equipment data sheets, and inspection and test plans.
- Experience conducting installation inspections, witnessing pressure and leakage tests, and verifying testing, adjusting, and balancing activities.
- Competence in identifying workmanship defects, preparing non-conformance reports, tracking punch lists, and verifying corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of construction quality procedures, health and safety requirements, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with inspection checklists, daily reports, photographs, document control, and standard office software.
- Clear written and verbal communication with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Professional integrity, methodical working habits, and willingness to work at active construction and plant sites.
