Accountant

Al Mahara Heavy Equipment Maintenance, established in 2016, maintains a wide range of heavy equipment and supplies spare parts. Serving customers across the sector, the company works with machinery from brands including Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, Hyundai and Doosan, helping keep equipment operating and reduce downtime. We are seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial records and reliable day-to-day accounting for our Ajman-based operations.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions and general ledger entries.
• Prepare invoices, payment records, expense reports and supporting documentation for equipment maintenance and spare-parts transactions.
• Assist with monthly closing, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor receivables and payables, follow up on outstanding balances and help maintain accurate cash-flow records.
• Maintain organized accounting files and ensure transactions are supported by appropriate approvals and documentation.
• Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams to verify invoices, purchase records and job-related expenses.
• Support budgeting, audit requests and compliance with applicable UAE accounting and tax requirements.
