Job Description
The responsibilities for the post of Project Assistant Contract Manager are:
1. Initial Our Client/Project indoctrination period in Baden, Switzerland to collaborate with F2 Project Management Team and Desalination Partner Team to learn and understand Our Client/F2 Project policies and procedures, learn F2 Project Scope, Execution Plans, and Division of Responsibilities.
2. Assist in the review inter-organizational agreements and subcontract packages for completeness and conformity to F2 Project requirements and Prime Contract flow-downs. Collaborate with Our Client Procurement / Desalination Partner Procurement in the development and finalization of Project Contract/Subcontract pro forma Terms & Conditions.
3. Assist in the identification of areas of risk and opportunity due to ambiguities, omissions and conflicts in the contents of documents relative to the Prime Contract (bid, proposal package, etc.) and physical construction activities of contractors on Site and in particular Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation contractors
4. Assist in the commercial management of the Consortium Agreement with Desalination Partner based on physical construction activities if Desalination Partner on Site.
5. Assist in the liaison with other Our Client Power Systems projects of a similar nature to maintain an information exchange for evaluation and dissemination of Our Client Power Systems experiences and lessons learned.

6. Assist in the on going develop and performance Commercial Awareness Training for team members to facilitate an awareness of the commercial issues on the Project
7. Assist in the implementation and execution of Contract Variation Order Procedure to provide a methodology to identify changes, quantify additional time and compensation per the Prime Contract, define Owner approval requirements and communicate changes to the Owner.
8. Assist in the identification and tracking of Owner related actions or inactions which result in constructive Prime Contract changes. Recommend and assist in the implement of actions to document and request additional compensation or time due from the Owner.
9. Assist in the coordination with Risk Management regarding occurrences that may be covered by insurance in accordance with F2 Project Insurance Procedure.
10. Assist in the develop and implementation of Prime Contract, Desalination Partner Contract and Subcontract / Supplier /Vendor close-out procedures and in the close-out all agreements.
11. Train as potential successor to Site Contract Manager or Project Contract Manager.
