The Giving Movement was created to disrupt the fashion space. The first Sustainable athleisure brand, made locally in the UAE and making donations of $4 an item to charity. The company has progressed rapidly from a team of 5 to 20+ in the last 6 months and expected to double again in the first half of 2021. TGM is backed by investors and focused mainly on D2C through its website and social channels. Aside from direct sales TGM has agreed wholesale contracts with most of the key fashion retailers both online and in malls across the GCC.
In its first 6 months revenue has exceeded $5m USD and is expected to reach $32m in 2021.
This role has being created to free the founder, Dominic up time to focus on product innovation and design. Dominic previously owned and managed an e-commerce brand in the UK which was sold following his move to the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce as CEO/Managing Director and preferably with a history in fashion. The candidate will excel in both strategic and executional areas in order to implement initiatives to better the organization. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on a range of responsibilities including hiring and training, implementing programs, and acting as the leader for the organization.
