Regional Sales Manager – North Africa Region
tna is a leading supplier of integrated food packaging and turnkey solutions with over 14,000 systems installed across more than 120 countries, focusing in the snack, confectionery, cereal, biscuit and pasta markets. We provide a comprehensive range of products including spraying, distribution, seasoning, weighing, packaging, metal detection and identification solutions, plus promotional and cutting equipment.
Our Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Sales team has a new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team, who will be based in the North African region. This position will report into the Divisional Sales Manager based in Dubai, UAE.
This role would suit an experienced sales manager with proven B2B track record and a focus on food processing or packaging equipment sales and complete line solutions, targeting the creation and maximisation of relationships within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop business opportunities with new & current clients, in existing industries and new target markets that can be served by tna’s product lines
Work closely with the Divisional Sales Manager to drive growth and ensure the overall profitability and performance of the team exceeds budgets and targets.
Ensure sound knowledge of tna’s products and services is developed and continually maintained as new product lines and product upgrades are launched
Coordinate the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities, plus other relevant marketing initiatives
Work with the Engineers and Project Management teams to confirm specific client requirements, timeframes for installation and tna practices and requirements
Liaise with Technical Support to achieve and maintain client satisfaction, from installation
Attend and work at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends)
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Exposure to the food packaging and processing industry ismandatory
Experience in special purpose or industrial machinery engineering, sales or a manufacturing environment
Sales or marketing solutions and strategies to meet set targets/KPIs
Able to stage a selling process that overcomes objection and indifferences and connects client needs with tna solutions
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to think strategically with good reasoning ability
Must have fluent multi language skillsEnglish, French, Arabic.
Able to provide excellent customer experiences – building strong relationships
Flexibility to travel at short notice, locally and overseas, including some weekends
Reliable car and driver licence
