As a Regional Floor Coating Manager at Hempel, you will be responsible to identify, develop and maintain strong business contacts with key asset owners, consultants, main contractors, and applicators who are involved with floor coatings within the Middle East region.

Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:

Identifying key opportunities in the region and ensuring these opportunities are captured in the CRM; followed up correctly and secured for Hempel.

Execution of regional floor coating strategy initiative.

Ensuring the regional commercial teams adopt commercial excellence tools and procedures in tracking floor coating activities around the region.

Ensuring, through collaboration with Marketing, Hempel product portfolio is fit for purpose and meets these market needs.

Mapping market and project updates through business intelligence tools and establishing robust sales process.

Responsible for all aspects of Regional sales development of the Hempel floor coatings range.

Ensure that Hempel is specified with the most suitable and competitive systems at asset owners and consultants active within the Middle East.

Maintain a complete and detailed overview of floor coating requirements at construction and maintenance projects at design and execution stages of the project opportunity pipeline.

Develop leads with the support of commercial support for the sales teams around the Region to develop into opportunities.

Accountable for the development & implementation of the floor coating strategy and the operational plans for Regional key accounts as well as the definition and delivery of the value proposition for every new product be introduced to the majors.

Periodically evaluate the performance of Hempel and competitor approved systems and coordinate with product management to provide feedback to management on overall product positioning.

You will report to the Business Director.

The role will be based in Sharjah (UAE)

We’re looking for a motivated and dynamic person to join our team

Our ideal candidate will come from a global, matrix organization with cross cultural and cross functional experiences and with proven leadership experience in sales management.

You should also have the following qualifications

Commercial and technical background with highly developed commercial and technical capabilities specifically developed in the floor coating arena.

Preferred 10 years experience of supplying or applying floor coating systems to concrete and steel floors in civil infrastructure and oil and gas markets.

Highly developed soft communication skills coupled with emotional intelligence to allow maximum influence over others and the sales process.

Fluent in Microsoft Office platforms and applications. Including: Word, Excel, Power point

Highly organised and structured individual capable of reading reports and developing action plans from the observed data.

Highly developed network of stakeholders in the floor coatings within the Middle East market.
