Job Description
Al Futtaim Lexus is currently looking for an experienced Branch Accountant to join our team in RAK. Reporting to the Branch Accounting Manager (BAM), you will provide analytical, commercial and Accounting support to Showroom / Aftersales Manager and Financial Controller / BAM You will ensure that company financial policies and procedures are applied in Aftersales branches with due diligence.
Specifically, your key responsibilities are as follows:
Verification of Cash / Cheque Deposits and ensure compliance of Accounting and Sales Control related policies and procedures by cashiers
Regular monitoring of branch petty cash and other expenses. Ensure Petty cash payments are properly authorized and approved
Monitoring branch overdue and debt collection process. Liaising with Showroom / Aftersales Managers for debt collection process and supporting branches in clearing old overdue balances by liaising with Central Finance.
Ensure that Operational controls as set up by standard procedures for Gate Pass issuance, parts inventory movement and Fixed Assets are adhered by branches.
Support Preparation of monthly MIS reports and work on cost saving projects / report assignments under the direction of Financial Controller / BAM.
Job Specification
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor in Commerce Degree or any Professional Accountancy Qualification. You will have 5 years’ experience in Accounts. You will high degrees of numeracy, high level of excel usage and familiarity with other MS Office products. Prior experience on ERP preferably SAP is a definite advantage!
You should have the ability to work well in a team and to communicate at middle management levels. Excellent English skills, both written and verbal are essential. Excellent with time management and with an auditing mind. Arabic is an advantage.
