Category Allocator Assistant - FMCG | Marks & Spencer | Dubai
This is a very exciting time to join the Food department in AFG Marks and Spencer. The company is growing rapidly in the region and we need an experienced buyer to expand its food offer.
The Category Allocator Assistant will manage the flow of stock on its categories from UK to MENA region and our multiple sales channels. You will help us to make sure that we have got the goods every time. We look o improve our customer offer in the region, as well as securing a strong stock availability for new stores.
You will be key ensuring the right stock is in the right place at a right time to maximize promotional activity and key events availability. You will need to be a great communicator who is able to deal with challenging situations.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with Systems teams to Set Up new lines or De-lists or Promotional activities in SAP system.
Managing and allocating stock, availability and plan for promotional activities and events across all stores in the MENA region in a timely manner.
Weekly availability, store fulfillment & sell thru report.
Stock consolidation and amalgamation online level across stores and markets.
Managing clearance of stocks leasing with Logistics Team.
Support with the forecasting of seasonal events and store investments to deliver the store in store execution and to enable delivery of availability, markdown, waste, stock, and sales target.
Liaise with regional suppliers to meet product availability and monitor service levels deliveries.

Support to deliver KPI’s targets for sales, profit, margin, market share and waste.
Ensuring stock availability in all the stores.
Help resolve stock issues quickly.
Support the delivery of shared targets across the wider team.
Continuous communication and updates on stocks and availability with the Ops team and stores.
Drive your personal development plan with the support of your line manager.
More about you:
Good knowledge/experience in Supply Chain and Stock Management.
Good analytical skills in excel
Good communication skills.
Good levels of planning, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
SAP system knowledge would be advantage.
