An opportunity has arisen for UAE National Engineer to join the Siemens Team in Abu Dhabi for the execution of a major Electrical O&G Project. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within one of the core electrical engineering areas of the Siemens business responsible for the procurement and expediting activities of electrical power distribution equipment’s and commodities for a large O&G project working under the mentorship of the Project and Procurement Manager. The role has transparent influence on the project outcomes, entrusted with procurement and expediting activities with Vendors and sub-contractors for allocated work packages on time and within budget.

Support project calculation with reliable and up-to-date cost data
Support contractual, price, cash flow and commercial T&C negotiations for material to secure project targets with optimum conditions
Crafting and maintaining project procurement plan, and assuring accurate execution by supply chain throughout the entire project
Establish accurate sourcing processes, execute procurement activities in the project and advise all involved to deliver optimum impact for the project (Procurement plan, target-costing) relating to budget, availability, timeline and quality
Support and lead preferred supplier lists and coordinate Supplier Management
Participate in project meetings as project core team member to exert a crafting influence at an early stage and to optimize internal workflows and processes
Implement Procurement regulations as per Compliance and organization standards
Analyze scope of supply and contract agreements, carry out risk analyses and introduce recommendations together with Project Manager to prepare for negotiations with suppliers (back-to-back where appropriate) and to initiate appropriate measures
Clarify internal indicators for project controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports
Provide supplier information to the project team and conduct project-specific supplier evaluations
Identify particular Procurement risks, opportunities and market forces during the project together with the Commodity Management to avoid potential damage
Exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk and claim management (e.g. contractual framework)
Forward systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants up to date.

Job Specification
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!
Engineering degree from local or international University or Technical Institute in Electrical, Automation or Electronics subject areas
Fresh graduates as well as experience professional are welcome to apply
Good communication skills in English language (written and spoken) with the ability to work in a team environment
Experience as Procurement Engineer in Medium and Low Voltage Electrical Power Distribution Projects is an advantage
