About the Role
The Hair Transplant Doctor will be D.H.I Global Medical Group trained in hair transplantation services using especially developed instruments and products.
D.H.I Global Medical Group was established for the first time in hair restoration, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which apply to all processes and at all levels, in order to guarantee safety, quality and outstanding results every time. At every D.H.I Clinic, each doctor and member of the staff follows these protocols and, in extraordinary cases, the advice of the scientific board. D.H.I Global Medical Group is ISO certified and CQC registered within UK.
About the Responsibility
Conduct patient consultations on hair loss concerns and recommend appropriate treatment
Perform surgical procedures for hair transplant and extract hair follicles one by one from the donor area using specifically designed disposable tool with a diameter of 1.1mm or less and ensuring that the follicles are kept at a specific temperature and in a solution that enhances their development after placement, without separating, cutting or generally handling the grafts
Perform surgical procedure in the placement phase where the hair follicles are implanted directly into the region suffering from hair loss using a patented tool, the DHI Implanter, also with a diameter of 1.1mm or less, without prior creation of holes or slits.
Perform surgical procedures to ensure full control of the depth, direction and angel of the placement of each graft, ensures 100% natural results, maximum viability and the implanted hair will never fall out and will grow for a lifetime
Carry out a pre and post treatment consultation with patient to discuss the aesthetic procedure
Educate patients on basic hygiene and skin care
Record and maintain an accurate patient file
Supervise and train the aesthetician and nurse in the aesthetic procedures
Work directly with the Medical Director to ensure quality of medical protocols
Attend and participate in conferences, meetings and other activities in order to maintain and improve the quality of service provided in the clinic
Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge, skills and expertise
Keep up to date on latest aesthetic medical treatment
Communicate and liaise with health/medical authorities when required
Ensure adherence to local, state and federal laws in administering treatments
Job Specification
About the Requirements
MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution and completion of specialty qualification as per the DHA (Dubai Health Authority) regulatory requirements
Minimum Experience:
5+ years’ experience as General Practitioner
2+ years’ experience hair transplant experience
Job-Specific Skills:
