Workshop Supervisor - Construction Equipment | FAMCO | Dubai
About the Position:
We currently looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor for FAMCO Construction Equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible to Prepare, supervises and control workshop daily activities, such as scheduling of work, deputation and allocation of technicians.
In addition, your key responsibilities are as follows:
Ensure safe and clean workplace by implementing and maintaining safety measures, requirements and procedures in workplace for both workshop and field jobs.
Attends customer calls, complaints and concerns
Prepare inspection/repair estimates or quotations with clear statement of scope of works, required spare parts, labor and other requirements.
Monitors job progress and ensure jobs are done within instructed times shared with technicians.
Ensure work quality and customer satisfaction.
Monitors the WIP and ensure to close jobs on time without delay.
Assist technicians in troubleshooting, spare parts recommendations and ensure development and progress of all technicians.
Monitors technician performance, efficiency and productivity and ensure necessary training, special tools and other requirements to carry out service jobs within the instructed/standard times.
Monitors and arrange all warranty jobs, prepare necessary technical reports and analysis for causes of failures, follow and adhere to warranty guidelines of the principals.
Job Specification
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications, knowledge and skills:
Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical / Automotive or related field
Minimum 5 years hands on experience in workshop repair and operations in a reputed automotive dealership, out of which 2 years are in a supervisory capacity preferably with Volvo construction machines.
Good communicator in English; Arabic an advantage
Sound technical knowledge in vehicle diagnosis and repair
Good computer knowledge, Microsoft applications and Database programs.
Has the ability to think analytically and has excellent planning and organizing skills
