What's On Your Plate?
Strategy team within Talabat is a small, multicultural team of ex-consultants and industry veterans. As a Sr. Manager - New Ventures in the strategy team you will work on a wide range of high priority projects. In this role, you will get to work on challenging business problems - where to grow next, how is a strategic initiative performing and how to turnaround an initiative etc. Working with stakeholders from different parts of the business, you can expect exposure to different aspects of Talabat and interact with the senior leadership at Talabat.
Whatβs on Your Plate?
Develop analytical and conceptual frameworks to help leadership prioritise potential strategic initiatives and new sub-business/products
Identify new/emerging use cases and develop business case and commercial strategy
Conduct market/industry studies, interviews with market participants, voice of customer research, benchmark/baseline exercises and other methods of primary and secondary data collection
Continuously monitor and analyse competitor business models and product portfolios in key markets
Execute opportunity sizing, profitability assessments, monetization models and other quantitative analyses
Develop strategy and go-to-market by working with business-unit, product and local markets
Identify and implement strategic partnership and investments/M&A
Project-manage discussions with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure momentum
What Did We Order?
Relevant education background, including MBA or strategy, innovation, or computer science degree from a top-tier academic institution
3-5+ years of professional experience, especially working with the strategy, business development or corporate development arm of a leading tech company and/or a top-tier management consulting firm.
Strong track-record of problem-solving, including structuring problems, performing detailed analysis, and developing & implementing recommendations
Strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written) β super comfortable with PowerPoint and Excel.
Comfortable with continuous engagement with C-level and senior leadership
