RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring closing of books and preparing monthly management accounts within strict deadlines
Preparing year end Financial statements
Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS
Assist in timely closure of audit
Assist in developing and implementing internal controls
Reporting to Insurance authority and Central bank on a periodic basis
Handling end to end Finance related projects
Tracking actuals with budgets and reporting to departmental heads on fortnightly basis
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA/CA with experience in preparing the Financial statements as per IFRS
Minimum of three years of relevant experience in preparing financial statements/management accounts
Minimum of three years of work experience in IFRS accounting principles including external audit (either as a client or service provider)
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
Experience in handling team
Proficient in MS Office applications
