Fully empowered to see the completion of a project, right from it?s conception stage, involving himself completely in fixing design parameters, detailed engineering, formulation of specifications, preparation of method statements procedures and ensuring that project / product meets quality standards and is cost effective.

? Responsible for efficiently organizing and effectively planning the implementation of projects designing phases, to meet all contractual targets and obligations.

1.0Prepares department budget and resource plan.
2.0Support Marketing by developing cost effective designs in order to make Descon products cost attractive. In special cases, assist in technical and price negotiations, in order to obtain best possible terms
3.0Identify and categorize technologies, explore avenues of related information and establish these sources in the form of magazines, books, procedures, technical papers etc. and ensure that this information is made available to all concerned.
4.0Provides resources to the engineering team for the development of new designs and execution of jobs in hand.
5.0Focus on the professional development of his staff. Individual career and Company goals have to be as closely identified and integrated as far as possible.
6.0Monitor staff performance in term of productivity.
7.0Builds close integration and teamwork at all levels of performance, and develops confidence in the evaluation process.
8.0Ensures implementation of projects design and deliver according to contractual schedules and commitment.
9.0Aim for the highest levels of excellence in the performance of products and services, often beyond the contractual demand.
10.0Give adequate attention to loss prevention. Strive for safe and environment friendly products.

11.0Ensure continuous improvement in his area.
12.0Develop special purpose machinery and equipment as per the given specifications.
