Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting and Control

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring closing of books and preparing monthly management accounts within strict deadlines
• Preparing year end Financial statements
• Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS
• Assist in timely closure of audit
• Assist in developing and implementing internal controls
• Reporting to Insurance authority and Central bank on a periodic basis
• Handling end to end Finance related projects
• Tracking actuals with budgets and reporting to departmental heads on fortnightly basis

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA/CA with experience in preparing the Financial statements as per IFRS
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in preparing financial statements/management accounts
• Minimum of three years of work experience in IFRS accounting principles including external audit (either as a client or service provider)
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Experience in handling team
• Proficient in MS Office applications
