RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring closing of books and preparing monthly management accounts within strict deadlines
- Preparing year end Financial statements
- Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS
- Assist in timely closure of audit
- Assist in developing and implementing internal controls
- Reporting to Insurance authority and Central bank on a periodic basis
- Handling end to end Finance related projects
- Tracking actuals with budgets and reporting to departmental heads on fortnightly basis
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA/CA with experience in preparing the Financial statements as per IFRS
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in preparing financial statements/management accounts
- Minimum of three years of work experience in IFRS accounting principles including external audit (either as a client or service provider)
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Experience in handling team
- Proficient in MS Office applications
