Amazon is looking for a Regional Senior Manager to lead the Quality function in Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The Regional Senior Manager role in ICQA owns complete responsibility for Quality for a Region involving multiple FCs. He/she attends the Regional WBR meetings. As part of the weekly review of metrics on IRDR, Net Adjustments, Concessions, FPY, FC Damages, GCA compliance etc. the Regional Senior Manager ensures that the necessary deep dive behind the metrics is comprehensive and helps the FCs define and execute action plans to drive improvement in performance. Depending on the metrics involved, the action plans can require interaction with Inbound Supply Chain, RBS, FC Operations, EU Packaging, Learning and Development, Loss Prevention, AFT team in Seattle, WW SOX compliance team, Retail management, ATS etc. But it all starts with a granular understanding of the metrics and a proper deep dive behind the metrics to understand true root causes and to identify right team to work with to define corrective actions.
As the leader of a Region, the Regional Senior Manager provides high-level guidance for the region to minimize defect injection in all the FCs by working closely with the afore-mentioned teams. For example, he/she works with the Learning and Development team to ensure that all associates receive training to deliver error free performance and proper coaching and feedback is provided to the associates who need it. Another major part of the ICQA responsibility is to manage the ICQA associate performance to remove existing defects in the FCs through multiple Count types. This requires daily performance management of ICQA teams to deliver the best Count performance in terms of accuracy as well as efficiency to deliver on annual targets for each FC. In addition to count management, the ICQA team is also responsible for numerous audits in the FCs to measure defect injection and create a rapid feedback loop within processes that lack one - such as Bin etiquette, Missorts, Receive container, Pack Shipment, Gaylord loading etc. Managing the aggregate output of the region’s audits toward an overall goal, tracking the time investment in each audit and ensuring corrective actions based on audit findings, is a key responsibility.
