Are you an innovative, creative, results-oriented marketer who is passionate about customers and developing creative marketing campaigns? The Amazon MENA Payments Marketing team supports payment method specific marketing, with our North Star to align the most customer-centric payment method to each customer at the right time in their Amazon journey.

MENA Payments Marketing team is focused on
· Utilizing “on-site” and “off-site” marketing channels to drive customer acquisition.
· Engaging existing customers to adopt different payment methods and increase awareness of payment options.
· Managing the global Consumer Payments brand architecture and strategy.
· Improving the global paying customer experience through targeted marketing.
· Building mechanisms and playbooks to enable scalability. We work in alignment with product teams to launch and expand payment methods and engagement efforts globally.
We work in collaboration with design to optimize the checkout UX and create advertising assets (landing pages, banners) for our marketing campaigns. We work in partnership with other Consumer Payments teams, such as APP and Amazon Pay, to deliver brand strategy playbooks.

This role as a Senior Marketing Manager is at the forefront of making it easy for customers to engage with Amazon whenever they want and wherever they want. As the Senior Marketing Manager, he/she will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver the strategy to build and improve our ability to intelligently engage with customers and will be responsible for driving this across Amazon MENA and will determine critical requirements for improvements on-site, off-site as well as in app experience of our customers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical and marketing skills, have experience with complex projects, and have a well-rounded technical knowledge of current CRM marketing tools.

Senior Marketing Manager will work to optimize performance marketing through onsite merchandising, paid digital marketing, and promotion campaigns and deliver results through rapid experimentation and iteration. Scope includes creating & testing content and creative, deliver on campaign calendars and marketing goals, measuring performance, ROI, and improving the customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:
· Manage marketing campaigns from end to end, driving product discovery and awareness, and acquisition, engagement, and retention for Local Customers.
· Execute marketing campaigns by engaging with retail marketing channel owners, enabling discoverability of these products on Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa
· Deep dive the customer experience, customer journey, funnel etc. to audit and identify opportunities to improvement.
· Report on marketing experiment results to stakeholders and senior leaders, recommending new testing and rollout opportunities.
· Leverage internal and external marketing and reporting tools to manage, report on and optimize marketing campaigns.
· Identify and influence marketing automation opportunities to improve targeting capabilities and to minimize manual work.
· Ensures that customer communications and marketing content is consistent, on brand and effective.
· Work with partner with respect to promotions and obtain required approvals from partner and regulators.
· Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers and escalating when needed

Job Specification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate should:
· Possess a strong background in data-driven analytics and insights generation, especially for free/direct marketing.
· Have a business background that enables them to support a process of researching, analysing, and reporting on hypotheses, experiments, and launches.
· Demonstrate ability to think analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
· Bachelors, Masters or equivalent. Six+ years relevant experience in marketing with experience in acquisitions, engagement, and product launches.
· Understanding of onsite marketing channel expansion.
· Experience designing and executing rapid-fire test-and-learn campaigns.
· Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn our in-house tools and systems

· Experience marketing payment methods and/or financial services products.
