Senior Software Developer in Test
Responsibilities:
- Champion of test automation within your team
- Deliver our test automation strategy for your feature team
- Accurately estimate test automation work during sprint planning
- Ensure your team reports on test execution, coverage, defect densities and open defect counts
- Own test coverage and technical debt for your team
- Be a top-class critical thinker, automating at every turn to keep regression at bay
- Lead defect triage during software delivery
Skills and Experience:
- Good experience in Java
- 5+ years of working experience in a software quality assurance position
- Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing best practice techniques, tools and processes including: cucumber, selenium, WebDriver, Appium, Gatling, postman- continuous integration , git, Jira, confluence- spring, JUnit, mock libraries- Linux, bash
- Good communicator with a strong command of the English language
- You have worked with OOP, Agile, TDD and BDD
- Experience in the following testing;- Highly transactional platforms- functional, API, acceptance, contract testing- cloud infrastructure- security, data integrity, performance, resilience
- An inherent need for tea and biscuits
