Future Opportunities for Freight Coordinator | Al Futtaim Logistics | Dubai
About the Job:
We are currently looking for an experienced Freight Coordinator to join Al Futtaim Logistics in Dubai. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will support Freight division to drive commercial growth of Freight Forwarding business by:
Procuring from various stake holders such as carriers, partner offices abroad, and local vendors.
Pricing to local customers
Price offer for all partner queries from abroad
Attending RFQs, in collaboration with other departments within the organization
Maintain tracker for all queries and hit ratio
Prepare Sales report and present in weekly commercial meeting
Evaluate vendor performance on agreed interval
Evaluate market price fluctuations and ‘pulse reporting’
Maintaining Client history and reporting performance
Maintaining Commercial team performance and reporting
Job Specification
About You:
The successful candidate should possess a Degree or Diploma preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics. You should have extensive experience in procurement and pricing in Dubai Freight Forwarding Industry. Thorough knowledge about Sea, Air, Land & Cross Border products and customs procedure is a must.
You must have awareness about Freight industry and its products & services. An overall professional and positive attitude is a must and preferably with valid UAE driving license, but not mandatory. You should have experience in Cargo wise EDI system or similar platform and an excellent knowledge on MS Office.
You should have the ability to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships with customer. You should have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and has the ability to solve problems quickly.
