We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, solution orientated People Operations Specialist to join our People Operations team in the UAE. This role reports to the Head of People Operations, UAE.
Our ideal candidate is good at getting things done and can play an active role in embedding strong people initiatives across the employee lifecycle partnering employees and managers across the UAE business unit.
What's on Your Plate?
Aim to constantly improve people operations service delivery with employee experience & excellent customer service front of mind.
You will be the first point of contact for all employees and provide support in answering key queries to ensure a best-in-class employee experience.
Be proactive in identifying people opportunities and challenges and recommending opportunities for enhancement and impact, constantly thinking outside of the box in terms of solutions.
Partner closely together with other People Operations colleagues and Centers of Excellence to ensure a coordinated and collaborative approach is taken to ensure all stages of the employee experience journey delivered. (e.g., Talent Development, Onboarding, Core POPs, Systems)
Secure clean and trackable employee data using the people systems to provide managers information and reporting on people related data as required to support people related decision making.
Support in areas of Line Manager and Employee Capability building to coach and educate our people to further develop high performing managers, individuals, and teams.
Keep up to date, recommend and implement on people operations policies and procedures with relevant legislative changes and act as an expert in labour law.
Actively engage in and deliver ongoing people operations projects and employee engagement activities.
What Did We Order?
University degree or equivalent (preferably in Human Resources)
Minimum of 2-3 years progressive work experience in the generalist field of HR
English fluent (written and oral)
MS-Office skills
Workday experience is advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and address sensitive issues
You are quality-driven and a fast learner and have superior attention to detail
You show an ability to work independently, swiftly, and effectively prioritize work
