This role involves handling warehouse operations in Dubai Commerce city, monitoring fulfillment of customer orders, managing inventory, monitoring customs related activities and maintaining accurate records in line with requirements of authorities.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
- Monitor warehouse inwards and outwards.
- Ensure sufficient skilled manpower and system in the warehouse and monitor their efficiency to ensure demands are met in full and on time.
- Ensure all inwards are completed on time.
- Ensure deliveries in Warehouse are completed on time.
- Ensure that returns accounting is completed as per norms.
Customs:
- Ensure all customs documentation and declarations are maintained properly.
- Monitor submission and reconciliation of stocks with our system vs customs system.
Warehousing Budget:
- Ensure that warehouse expenses are in line with budget.
Delivery to customers on time:
- Ensure that customer orders are processed within agreed timelines and ensure that a high service level is always maintained across.
Inventory Management:
- Match physical stock with book stock which are stored in for efficient operations.
- Improve visibility of stocks for easy liquidation.
Cost Management:
- Ensure shipping costs are monitored always and implement efficient packing of items.
Requirements
- Must have Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Imports/Exports/warehousing.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel.
- Must have analytical background and a good understanding of numbers.
- Must have a clear understanding of imports/exports operations, documentation, warehousing and handling customs.
- Must have a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree.
