Purpose of the Role:
Payroll Associate will be responsible for accurate and speedy processing of all payroll; His / her job description shall entails identifying, distributing, and processing, and maintaining payroll records, and ensure the accuracy of data for essential payroll variables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Consolidation and maintenance of payroll related information attendance, overtime, absence, arrears, leaves etc.
- Verification of information submitted and related supporting documents
- Respond to internal and external payroll related queries from employees, Labor ministry, central payroll
- Establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to company policy
- Upload and review payroll reports and any queries related in the payroll system
- Provide payroll information and resolve employees’ queries related to payroll
- Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
- 3+ years of solid proven experience in the Payroll department
- Experience in using multiple payroll systems, Ramco will be a plus
Experience:
- Experience in manually calculating all elements of the payroll
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge:
- Middle East Labour legislation, Knowledge of the GCC markets and operations.
- Strong experience with MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point, Microsoft Word)
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
