Job Description

 Maintain LAN connectivity of PC, printer, scanners/copiers
 Pc hardware & software deployments, connects and tests all hardware (or users including monitors, PCs, printers, setting up shared hardware when required. Responds to user requirements on hardware problems.
 Carries out routine maintenance of PC, printers, etc. Arranging for other technicians to carry out mote complex maintenance when needed.
 Maintains a hardware Inventory, keeping up to date with new additions and requests the disposal of surplus equipment when required.
 Maintains storage of all consumable computer systems supplies.
 Provide network access and internet connections to authorized users.
 Provides first level helpdesk service to the IT users.
 Management of backups and arranges transfer of copies for offsite storage.
 Maintain logs of backups.
 Services are provided in the HO in Abu Dhabi and Plant in Ruwais.

Job Specification

In Depth Knowledge of MS-Windows Client operating systems Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Windows 2003 servers and active directory. Should have vide range of hardware and software products and understand how they work. Knowledge of color laser printer maintenance will considered as added qualification.
