IT System Support Analyst (Sage)

Job Description
In this essential role, you will be central in providing ongoing support and development of core IT systems and supporting infrastructure, working in a primarily Sage ERP-based environment.
Your role will be focused on driving technology innovation and improvement across the Business.
You will provide first line and second line support across multiple legal entities for approximately 200 users, offering help-desk problem resolution to IT incidents. When required, you will work as part of a Project team to provide technical expertise to facilitate project conception, implementation and testing.

What you'll be doing:
- Managing system updates, coordinating testing and production readiness of the data that supports creation and maintenance of batch records.
- Providing ongoing support to our users within the Sage- ERP based environment.
- Working with internal teams to assess maintenance updates and upgrades to the Sage ERP system and participating in all testing and release to production of these changes to the platform.
- System management and delivery to assess new system capabilities.
- Creation, release and modification of a reporting suite through Crystal and Business Intelligence.
Requirements
- 5 + years of experience in a similar role
- In depth knowledge of ERP systems, preferred experience within a Sage based environment
- Experience of Development and integration of ERP systems
- Experience of Development and integration of customized applications
- SQL Server and Query Writing
- Microsoft Development Platform and Crystal Reports
- Strong Knowledge of Sage Intelligence to build reports as per the group requirements
- Fundamentals of Financial consolidation reporting for the group
- Programming VBA macros to automate company processes
- Sage Certification/ Microsoft Certification along with a Computer Science background is preferred
