The Credit Control Coordinator provides support to the Finance Department by managing daily tasks related to Credit Control. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

What you'll be doing
- Pro-actively review, monitor, escalate and downgrade accounts as per the process
- Ensure all non-performing accounts are recorded, updated, and reported on weekly basis
- Negotiate, prepare, ensure right approvals are in place and monitor all payment plans
- Notify clients and follow up with internal stake holders on the outstanding via email
- Prepare statement of accounts for clients, identify discrepancies, and support respective teams.
- Escalating high risk accounts to Credit Lead
- Accurate recording of cheques and credit card payments to the respective customer accounts for existing contracts.
- Following the 5 day process and escalating accounts to debt collection agency.
- Coordinate with debt collection agency and report on weekly basis on escalated debt
- Timely updates on ageing to support the transparency across the business.
- Supporting the banking team by identifying and advising allocation of payments to the correct customer accounts.
- Reporting on the outstanding and default of customers to different stakeholders in the business.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with 2 years based in UAE
- Ability to manage own workload and changing demands
- A keen eye for detail
- A can-do and flexible approach
- Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaborative skills
- Fluent in English language
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of Sage or similar software
- Applying basic work ethic, which includes but not limited to, respect, time management amp; adherence of company and department policies and procedures

- Understands and applies competencies linked to level of expertise
- Demonstrates ability to communicate issues/problems on a timely basis
