Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Reports to: General Manager – Design and Construction
Department: Design and Construction
Location: Dubai Festival City, Dubai, UAE
JOB PURPOSE
To execute and deliver development projects from inception to completion, within time, to the required quality and within budget.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Project Delivery Quality: To execute the project to ensure that the quality of the final project has achieved the quality standards defined by the project brief resulting in receipt of the Completion Certificate.
Project Delivery Progress: To execute the project to ensure that the progress of the project is achieved within the described timeframe keeping all team members informed of progress at all times.
Project Delivery Cost: To execute the project to ensure that the costs of the project are maintained within the described limits of the project viability.
Project Value Engineering: Ensure that the project team is accurately and timely informed about value added/buildability options for the projects execution.
Human Resource Development: Ensure that the project team is adequately staffed with competent site staff.
Project Reporting: Ensure that a record of project activity is maintained for the duration of the project.
Project Documentation: Ensure that a true record of the completed project documentation is available on completion of the project.
Project Construction Participants: Ensure that project participants are comprehensively evaluated as suitable for inclusion for the project’s execution and actively participate in evaluations and negotiations to achieve this objective.
Tender Documentation: Ensure that all Tender and Contract documentation is prepared in a coordinated manner in conjunction with the project team.
JOB CONTEXT
The Project Management department is required to steer the process of development within Dubai Festival City from design inception through to construction and handover to operations. As part of this process, efforts will be made to integrate Al Futtaim Brand products within the development
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, & SKILLS
Minimum Experience:
15 – 20 years’ experience in the construction field either from a contracting or consulting background. Min 10 years in a position of leadership with the majority of experience gained in a multinational environment.
Job-Specific Skills:
Civil Engineering and Building/ University Degree. Proactive approach with good communication skills developed in a multinational environment with a minimum of 15 years major project experience. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel), MS Project.
Behavioural Competencies:
Maintain relationships with all team members to ensure the participants consider they have actively contributed to the project’s success.
