You will be working as a Business Controller and will be part of the Process Automation Business Area for Marine and Ports Division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to the Regional Division Controller and will be responsible for acting as a business partner to the respective business manager. Supporting effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommending the most appropriate business solutions.
Your responsibilities
Translating the business strategy into plans and establishing measurable targets. Evaluating the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identifying risks and recommending required actions.
Overseeing business planning and forecasting process for area of responsibility and serving as an interface to Head Quarters ,Country Chief Financial Officer, Global and Local Division Manager.
Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization and capital efficiency while closely monitoring cash flow and taking relevant action to improve Net Working Capital.
Identifying and communicating commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. Executing risk review procedures and processes in line with the global policies and standard to minimize the commercial and financial risks and exposure.
Establishing and overseeing processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information and ensuring high quality information is in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
Ensuring compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations and guidelines. Supporting internal and external audits.
Ensuring timely and efficient communication with respective local division and regional controllers, accounting center and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency.

Job Specification
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Minimum 3 years of experience as a business controller
Experience in SAP FI and CO module will be a plus.
Strong user experience with Microsoft Office tools, particular focus on Excel.
ACCA certification will be considered as an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and providing utmost attention to details.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
