We are seeking an Account Director to join our EMEA Partner Sales team. You’ll be the first Sales person on the ground in this region, based in Dubai. The team will be leading our regional reseller relationship in the MENA region. This role would work to enable our partners to best represent our advertising sales within these countries. Above all, your work will alter the way the world experiences music.What You'll Do
  • Support the MENA Sales team in selling advertising space in order to grow advertising revenues by crafting, maintaining and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies and clients directly
  • Work in collaboration with Sales Partners across various agency departments, i.e. radio, digital, branded content, to deliver successful campaigns
  • Focus on the brand sell; educating and encouraging our partner to sell Spotify’s advertising solutions
  • Meet and exceed advertising revenue targets
  • Help mentor partners on the Programmatic advertising landscape where needed
  • Help set up scalable, efficient processes for the Sales Partner
  • Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassadors
  • Report into Head of Partner Sales EMEA
Who You Are
  • You bring minimum of 10 years' experience in a media agency/online sales role. Experience in working with Sales Houses or Re-sellers in the past will be advantageous
  • You come with a deep understanding of online media, programmatic advertising and the ability to be creative with audio and digital client solutions
  • You bring a track record of effective and well-organized pitching and selling backed by results
  • You are an excellent negotiator who presents well and closes deals!
  • You are experienced in putting together reports and presentations using Excel, Keynote, etc.
  • You have a clear understanding of digital advertising metrics
  • You are hardworking, enjoy working in a start-up environment and across external and internal teams to deliver campaigns
  • You are highly motivated and a self-starter with a sound commercial approach
  • You are professional, dedicated and super service minded!
